The launch of Monkey King --- the new edition to celebrate the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Even though the world-premiere of Monkey King during the 2008 Summer Olympics was already highly acclaimed, the new 2010 edition now underway promises to take the concept of Action-Musical to new heights of visual splendor and action entertainment.
Monkey King will make its North American premiere in the first week of February at the prestigious The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts.? Monkey King¡¯s appearance in Vancouver will create history for the show because it will represent the only show that would run through two consecutive Olympic games.? The rock-style Action-Musical will run for four weeks (at least thirty-two performances) after which it will move onto the famous Canon Theatre in downtown Toronto for three weeks.? The performances in Toronto will make the show once again eligible for the prestigious annual Dora Awards for theatrical entertainment.?
Rehearsals have already begun for this impressive 2010 Canadian tour of Monkey King.? Despite Sight, Sound & Action having touted its Heartbeat Hawaii cast as the best to date in the company¡¯s history, the company now believes that the Monkey King cast of artists will overshadow all predecessors.?
