Rock-Musical Monkey King will be on Beijing stage August 2008
Monkey King is the seventh Action-Musical produced by Sight, Sound & Action. Specially conceived to commemorate the Beijing Olympic Games, this show will be China鈥檚 first 鈥淩ock Musical鈥漝esigned for family audiences. Inspired by the Chinese literary classic Journey to the West, the story is adapted so that people of all cultures can enjoy the spectacular variety of characters in their adventuresome pursuit of truth. This newest and largest-scale production of Sight, Sound & Action will delight audiences with new fusion-choreography, new Chinese rock-style music, and new surrealistic art direction. The show is guaranteed to provide an entirely new theatrical experience.
